Some Subaru models have holes in the front bumper, (some square, some round,) which are for non-U.S. plates. These holes are not used in the installation of this product. You will notice that on those models, the dimples are found in the area between the non-U.S. holes in the center of the bumper. And once installed, the front license plate bracket will cover up any non-U.S. holes, giving your vehicle a clean, sleek, finished appearance.

The Front and Back License plate Brackets for the 2022 Ascent was a perfect fit. These brackets should be a standard issue for all Ascents. A must have option. It also fits most frames.

I bought this because my last Subaru had no bracket and my license plate's corners bent. This bracket fits my new Ru perfectly and fixed securely to the front of my car. It will protect my new plate and keep it flat as a pancake.

I bought these for our 2022 Ascent. The Items arrived as described. If you're a little handy installation is super easy and it comes with instructions too! It comes with all of the necessary hardware and then some! I like that it not only attaches to the car with the hardware provided but also has an extra double-sided adhesive to make sure it stays on! This should have come standard from the factory with this level of quality! Will definitely buy again in the future if the need arises.

Excellent products. Very well made brackets and very nice steel frames. Front bracket fit contours of bumper exactly. I actually mounted the rear universal fit bracket upside down it seemed to fit better on the top edge that way. Frames were very well made but left a small gap in front of the plate to frame. I already had my plates in a thin silicone frame that had a full back maybe 1/8 inch thick. I was able to mount the frames right over the silicon frame and had a nice snug fit. Included Black covers for the hardware give the whole setup a very nice finished appearance. This setup is what Subaru should have had on the Ascent instead of just screwing the front plate onto the bumper using their cheap dealer frame. I actually found out about the product via Robert Mauro on the online Subaru Ascent forum. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Products were well made well packaged and shipped in a timely fashion. I have them on a Blue Ascent, and the black frames/brackets really look sharp.

The fitment was perfect and looks OEM. Easy installation with just a screw driver and had everything to prep with 3M adhesive. Definitely a great purchase especially when you want to keep the license plates from scratching your paint!!

Odd that cars don't come with a means of mounting a front plate other than two self tapping screws threaded into the plastic bumper. This nicely rectifies that. It still uses two screws but they're augmented with very strong mounting tape that firmly and permanently adheres to the vehicle. The plate mounts to it with four screws. It yields a solid finished appearance.

Rather expensive and the main front plastic piece was warped so that one side did not contact the bumper properly. However, they were easy to install, look nice mounted, and should hold everything securely. No problems after a few trips through the car wash.
